Windmills of Sikia

A 20 metre zone has been defined around them because they are notable monuments of folk architecture that present an interest from a structural, building and morphological side and are inextricably connected with the history of the area.

Two windmills in Nikiti Khalkidhiki are characterised as historic preserved monuments and a protection zone of 5o metres is defined around them, because they are buildings of the first half of the 19th century and present an interest from a structural, building and morphological side of the location and they are inextricably connected with the history of the area.

Roller mill of Mantsios in Nikiti
The roller mill of Mantsios in the beach of Nikiti Halkidiki with its surrounding space in the property boundaries is characterised as a historic preserved monument that needs special protection by the state for social reasons and as a notable specimen of technical culture. It is about a group of three stone-built, shingle roof buildings with different heights which are enjoined in a row. The group of buildings of the flour mill of Mantsios was built during the interwar period and constitutes an important testimony of the development of the traditional windmills into flour mills with internal combustion engines. 

Old primary school in Nikiti
The old primary school is next to the temple of Agios Nikitas in the settlement of Nikiti. It is about a stone preserved building of traditional Macedonian Architecture that is timed in 1870s. Today it houses the folk museum.
